Art Gallery
The Mōkau Museum has an art gallery attached to its southern wing. This space is available for rent. We have a fresh exhibition every six weeks.

Mr Whittaker was the founding member of this small rural museum. 35 years ago he had a vision for the magnificent historical storehouse we have on this site today.
VOLUNTEERS
The Mōkau Museum has ten volunteers and we are always looking for more. Consider supporting your community in this way. Call our secretary.
Our Site
Mōkau Museum is situated on the main highway between Awakino to the north and Tongapōrutu to the south. Mōkau has three excellent cafes, so stop by for a whitebait fritter and a coffee before visiting us at the museum.

Our Collections
